Im23 awarded MaaS Consultancy Contract
IM23 to explore Mobility as a Service with Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire County Councils. Oxford-based IM23, the smarter mobility agency, has been awarded an exciting contract to identify ways in which Mobility as a Service could improve transport for Oxfordshire and Cambridgeshire County Councils.
The team will help both Councils to identify the impact and potential opportunities associated with Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions. They will explore how MaaS can support delivery of the LTAs’ statutory transport services in Adult and Social Care and Children’s Services and reduce the number of vehicles on the road, lower emissions and improving transport for all.
By understanding which transport needs can be served by MaaS and identifying the appropriate business models, the project will examine the roles of the local authority and MaaS providers in the value chain to ensure that all transport needs are met, and not just those that are commercially attractive.
