MaaS:CAV

What is it?

An investigation into an ideal use case for autonomous vehicles in Oxfordshire, as the basis for a post-project trial implementation..

The organisations working together on this project are Oxfordshire County Council, MoBOX, RACE, Zeta Lighting, Transport Systems Catapult, Bosch, and im23. Examples of the use cases under consideration include commuters, tourists and shoppers.

What we're doing

Together, the consortium is conducting network, demand and routes analysis; looking at infrastructure requirements for connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs); reviewing the business case for CAVs for Local Authorities; developing the business case for SMEs; investigating user needs and requirements; and creating a commercialisation and communication plan for the proposed solution.

The project will run until late 2019/ early 2020.
